They are now seeking a Senior Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Sustainability Consultant:
• Energy Modelling & Analysis: Lead the delivery of energy modelling and performance simulations for building projects, focusing on CIBSE TM54 methodology for whole-life carbon analysis and operational energy performance. Use industry-leading software (e.g., IES VE, DesignBuilder) to simulate building energy use and optimize building performance working towards NetZero.
• Sustainability Consulting: Provide expert advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable building practices to help clients meet their environmental goals and regulatory requirements, such as BREEAM, LEED, WELL and Fitwell.
• Building Performance Evaluations: Assess the energy performance of new and existing buildings, conducting simulations to identify opportunities for improvements in energy use, heating, cooling, lighting, ventilation, and renewable energy integration.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that projects meet relevant local and international energy and sustainability standards, including energy performance regulations (e.g., Part L, Part O, SAP, EPC) and sustainability certifications.
• Collaborative Design Support: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate energy-efficient and sustainable solutions into the design and construction process, ensuring the implementation of CIBSE TM54 principles.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex energy modelling results and sustainability strategies clearly to clients and other stakeholders, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and design processes.
• Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in energy modelling and sustainable building practices, contributing to continuous improvements in our consultancy services.
