• Exceptional leadership skills coupled with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

• A successful track record in leading and delivering high-profile infrastructure projects, with experience in bridges, tunnels, stations, buildings, and design using various materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
• 8+ years of experience in the civil/structural engineering field, ideally with a focus on major infrastructure and geotechnical projects.
• A passion for business development, driving innovation, and securing new project opportunities, while ensuring project teams remain on track to meet their goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor senior engineers and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of designs and solutions that meet both client and regulatory requirements.
• Lead design and analysis for major infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the development of conceptual designs, engineering drawings, and reports, ensuring all deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Take responsibility for technical oversight and approval of complex engineering solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
• Manage project teams, providing mentorship and guidance, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Foster strong client relationships, driving business development opportunities through engagement and proposal writing.
• Represent the company in industry events and technical publications, enhancing the company’s presence and reputation in the sector.
• Collaborate closely with discipline heads from our Croydon, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and York offices, driving synergy across teams and contributing to the continued success and growth of the organization.
• Oversee the financial management of projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
