Job: Fire risk Assessor
Location: London
Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing fire safety consultancy delivering high-quality non-intrusive fire risk assessments across London.
This role is ideal for a competent assessor holding Tier 2 status on the NFRAR register, with strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and experience working across residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct non-intrusive Fire Risk Assessments in line with PAS 79 methodology
- Produce clear, compliant, and detailed FRA reports
- Identify fire hazards and recommend practical remedial actions
- Provide professional advice to clients regarding fire safety compliance
- Manage a portfolio of sites across London
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and best practice
- Liaise professionally with clients, housing providers, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Tier 2 registered on the NFRAR register
- Proven experience carrying out non-intrusive Fire Risk Assessments
- Strong understanding of:
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
- PAS 79
- Fire Safety Act
- Relevant British Standards and guidance
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
