Our client is looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing fire safety team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor who has experience working across commercial premises and is looking to further develop their career in fire safety compliance.
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of commercial properties. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will ensure that premises comply with fire safety legislation and will provide clear recommendations to improve fire safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed fire risk assessments within commercial premises in accordance with current fire safety legislation.

Identify fire hazards, evaluate fire risks, and implement suitable control measures.

Produce clear and professional fire risk assessment reports with practical recommendations.

Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Provide expert advice on fire prevention, fire protection systems, and emergency procedures.

Review existing fire safety measures and recommend improvements where required.

Maintain accurate records of completed fire risk assessments.
Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience working as a Fire Risk Assessor.

Proven experience carrying out fire risk assessments in commercial premises.

Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety (or equivalent).

Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple fire risk assessment projects efficiently.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable

Membership of a relevant professional body (IFE, IFSM, or similar).

Experience working across multiple types of commercial properties.

Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and risk management.
