Building Physics Engineer
Location: Birmingham, UK
Purobuild have partnered with a leading, global consultancy specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. This award winning consultancy are looking for a Building Physics Engineer to join their established team in Birmingham. The successful Building Physics Engineer must have relevant experience within a consultancy based position and be confident communicating with members of the design/engineering teams and liaising with clients on project matters. The Building Physics Engineer will join a growing team working on some high spec, complex projects across a range of sectors.
Building Physics Engineer requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Building Physics role
• Proficient using IES VE software and undertaking energy analysis
• Experience with Part L calculations
• Experience in operational Energy modelling (TM54 etc)
• Experience undertaking overheating analysis TM52, TM59 and daylight assessments
• Experienced in IES for detailed energy modelling
• CIBSE certification Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) / Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) desired
