We are working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy who are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their team based in London. As a key member of their structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of innovative and sustainable structural solutions for a wide range of projects.
Responsibilities for the Structural Design Engineer:
• Lead and manage the structural design process from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software.
• Produce high-quality design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
Requirements for the Structural Design Engineer:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural design, ideally with a consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
