Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sustainability NetZero Consultant to join our team in Cardiff/Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advancing the NetZero carbon agenda. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to achieve net zero energy goals, focusing on ESG frameworks, and accelerating social housing retrofit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects aimed at achieving NetZero targets
- Delivery of current industry assistance programmes including the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator, working directly with housing providers.
- Develop and implement effective ESG strategies to support sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive the Social Housing Retrofit Accelerator program.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability targets and compliance with regulations.
- Advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions in sustainability and NetZero energy.
- Implementing ESG Strategy
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting with a focus on social housing.
- In-depth knowledge of the net zero carbon agenda and energy efficiency strategies.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and their application in social housing.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
