Senior Building Physics Consultant
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Purobuild are currently working with a leading, global consultancy specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. This award winning consultancy are looking for a Senior Building Physics Consultant to join their growing team based in Birmingham. The successful Senior Building Physics Consultant must have relevant experience within a consultancy based position and be confident communicating with members of the design/engineering teams and liasing with clients on project matters. Senior Building Physics Consultant will also be responsible for managing and leading more junior members of the team on projects and training them in areas of development. The successful candidate will join a growing team working on some exceptional, multi million pound, complex projects.
Senior Building Physics Consultant requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience using IES VE and proficient undertaking energy analysis
• Experience with GLA planning requirements
• Qualified Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) (L5) & experience with Part L calculations
• Experience in operational Energy modelling (TM54 etc)
• Experience undertaking overheating/daylight assessments
• Experienced in IES ApacheHVAC for detailed energy modelling
• Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) qualification desired
