Job Title: Principal Energy and Building Physics Consultant
Location: Leeds / Glasgow
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage energy modeling and building physics projects to ensure sustainable and efficient building designs.
- Conduct detailed daylight analysis to optimize natural light usage in building projects.
- Ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate energy efficiency and building physics considerations into design processes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on sustainable building practices and innovative energy solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The ideal Principal Energy & Building Physics Candidate will have experience across:
- Energy modeling, Building physics, IES software, Thermal Modelling, TM54, TM52, TM59, Part L, Part O.
- Experience across a range of sectors, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
