Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled OCDEA (SAP) Assessor to join a growing team in Macclesfield on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in OCDEA, SAP, TM59, SBEM, and LCA, providing energy assessments and consultancy services for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct SAP assessments for new and existing residential buildings.
- Perform TM59 and SBEM calculations for non-residential buildings.
- Utilize LCA methodologies to assess and reduce environmental impact.
- Provide expert advice on energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers to optimize building designs for energy performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as an OCDEA (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor).
- Proficiency in SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) calculations.
- Experience with TM59, SBEM, and LCA assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
