About the Role:

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will lead efforts to integrate sustainable practices into building design and construction. Your expertise will guide the development of energy-efficient solutions, ensuring projects meet rigorous environmental standards and contribute to a greener future.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Sustainability Consultant:

  • Conduct detailed energy modeling using IES-VE software to optimize building performance.
  • Prepare comprehensive BREEAM reports to support project certification goals.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to implement sustainable design strategies.
  • Analyse building systems to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice on sustainable materials and construction methods.
  • Lead workshops and presentations to promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure projects incorporate the latest advancements.
  • Mentor junior consultants and share best practices in sustainability.

Key Requirements Senior Sustainability Consultant:

  • Proven experience in sustainability consulting within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in IES-VE modeling and energy analysis.
  • Strong ability to compile and interpret BREEAM assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on sustainability projects.

Desirable Skills Senior Sustainability Consultant:

  • Familiarity with LEED and other international green building standards.
  • Experience with lifecycle assessment tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certification in sustainability preferred.
  • BREEAM Accredited Professional status is highly desirable.
